Favorite Book: The Oresteia by Aeschylus
Lisa Gilmore is in her fifth year with academic advisement and her first season working in the athletics department with the men's soccer program. Her duties include class scheduling, monitoring NCAA progress reports, providing tutor referrals and implementing career development plans for student athletes.
Gilmore has been an academic advisor at UNM since 2003 and has worked in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Anderson Schools of Management.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Gilmore received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from UNM in 2003. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration at New Mexico. She and her fiancé, Chris, will be married in October 2008.
