Les Myers begins his second year as the senior academic advisor for the Lobo football program. Myers came to UNM after spending three years at Colorado State.
Prior to Colorado State, Myers spent one year at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. He served as academic advisor, tutor/study session coordinator and computer lab coordinator.
Myers began his work in academic advisement in 2002 as an intern at Florida Atlantic University.
Myers attended Garden City (Kan.) Community College for two years where he was a two-year letterwinner for the baseball team. He was also a student employee in the GCCC athletics department, working in the areas of event management, ticket sales, promotions, crowd-control and field maintenance.
Myers received his bachelor's degree in History from the University of Colorado in 2001. He completed his master's in Sports Administration from Wichita State in 2003.
