Greg Remington is in his 26th year at the University of New Mexico. He was named Associate Athletics Director for Administration and Media Relations in July of 2000. Remington coordinates media relations for the department and serves as the lead adminstrator for championship events hosted by UNM.
Remington has been at UNM since February of 1983 when he joined the staff as the assistant sports information director. He was promoted to sports information director in March of 1987. Prior to UNM, Remington was Assistant SID at Baylor and a graduate assistant at the University of Kansas.
Remington graduated from the University of Kansas in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Business Adminstration. He received his master's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletics Administration from Wichita State in 1982. The 49-year-old Pittsburg, Kan., native and his wife, Patty, have been married for 16 years.
