Greg Remington Position: Communications Assistant Experience: 28th Year Alma Mater: Kansas '80 - B.A. Wichita State '82 - M.A.

Greg Remington is in his 28th year at the University of New Mexico. In June of 2010, Remington retired as Associate Athletics Director for Administration and Media Relation, a position he held since 2000. He now serves in a variety of roles as a part-time communications assistant, including radio analyst for Lobo football.

Remington has been at UNM since February of 1983 when he joined the staff as the assistant sports information director. He was promoted to sports information director in March of 1987. Prior to UNM, Remington was Assistant SID at Baylor and a graduate assistant at the University of Kansas.

Remington graduated from the University of Kansas in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Business Adminstration. He received his master's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletics Administration from Wichita State in 1982. The Pittsburg, Kan., native and his wife, Patty, live in Albuquerque.
