Valerie Valle is a post-doc resident in Clinical and Sport Psychology at the University of New Mexico. Valle's primary role is providing mental health services for student-athletes. She also provides mental training and performance enhancement services such as relaxation training, imagery training, goal setting, and team building.

Valle received a doctorate of clinical psychology with an emphasis in sport psychology from Argosy University/Phoenix in 2008. She complete her bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Florida in 1999.

Valle is an athlete and a former coach. She is a competitive swimmer and triathlete. She coached various age-group and masters' swimming programs in Florida and Arizona for approximately 10 years.
