The Central New Mexico Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was held on Sunday, June 15th at Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque. The UNM Cheerleaders and Dancers were out volunteering at the event. They helped with balloons and lined the Pink Parade for Survivors. The members also helped at the finish line and passed out water to all participants. Lobo Spirit Group Helps Out With Relay for Life
Members of the Lobo Athletics Staff volunteered as "Phone Friends" on Saturday, June 7, at the KNME Studios for the KNME Phone-A-Thon to help raise money for public television in New Mexico.
Lobo Spirit Squad Celebrates National Cancer Survivors Day
The University of New Mexico Cheerleaders and Dancers helped with the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics New Mexico on Friday, May 30th at the UNM Track & Field Stadium. Lucy Lobo was also in attendance on Saturday, May 31st visiting & taking pictures with the athletes.
