Eligibility: The Student Lettermen's Association is open to all student-athletes, trainers and spirit group members at the University of New Mexico.

Purpose: The organization was created in an effort to unite UNM athletics as a whole for social, community and networking purposes. The three main goals of the group are simple: have student-athletes get to know one another through our many social and community service events; help current student-athletes build relationships with Alumni Lettermen; and to provide an organization in which student-athletes can become involved with the community through the club's many service projects.

Social: The Student Lettermen's organization plans and organizes social events that provide student-athletes the opportunity to be together and get to know one another.

Community: The Student Lettermen learn how to plan, organize and host an array of community projects. Outreach to the surrounding communities via charity work and community volunteerism are important components of the UNM Student Lettermen's organization. The signature event of the Student Letttermen is its annual Run for Relief that is held in the fall of each year. Proceeds from this community event, orchestrated by the Lettermen's club, are given to the Pediatric Oncology unit at UNM Health Sciences.

Networking: The Alumni Lettermen's Association is the founder and supporter of the Student Lettermen's Association and is responsible for the financial stability of the student group. The Student Lettermen club assists in myriad Alumni Lettermen events and activities that include: The UNM Alumni Lettermen's Hall of Honor dinner, tailgate events, Lettermen Lounge activities, and the Alumni Lettermen membership campaign.

Meetings: Student Lettermen meetings are held every other Wednesday at 7 p.m. during the academic year in the Athletics Administration Building in the Lobo Club Board Room. Pizza and soft drinks are available for attendees.

Events: Run for Relief, Easter Egg Hunt, Roadrunner Food Bank, Spring Storm, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Lobo Kids Club and Alumni Lettermen events.
