The University of New Mexico's office of Athletics Communications is here to assist both the media and fans in covering and enjoying UNM Lobos Athletics. Whether through the website, releases, or personal communication, we hope you find our office staff friendly, helpful, and ready to assist!
Our goals for the Athletics Communications Office are: *Assist the University Relations office in matters dealing with the athletic department. *Promote the various achievements of the athletic teams and its members for local, regional, and national awards. *Accurately record the results and statistics of athletic events, and distribute those to local, regional, and national media outlets. *Serve as a liaison for the local and national governing bodies of the UNM Athletics Department. *Serve as the spokesperson for the department of athletics as per the direction of the Vice President for Athletics.
