SOPHOMORE (2016): Was named a Louisville Slugger All-American (Third Team) and the Tony Gwynn Player of the Year by the Mountain West Conference after hitting .331 with 18 home runs (a team high), 17 doubles, 51 runs and 66 RBI (a team high) … the 18 home runs is tied for seventh on the single-season Lobo list … his 27 career home runs is tied for 10th on the all-time UNM list … The only player to start all 62 games last season for the Lobos (seventh on the single-season list) … Enters the 2017 season having started 108 consecutive games (tied for 8th on the all-time UNM list) … Tied a Lobo record with six hits in a game against Fresno State on April 9 and also became the first Lobo since 2009 (and 10th ever) to hit for the cycle (6-for-7, HR, 3B, 2B, 3 RBI, R) … Drove in five runs in a game twice: March 22 at Texas Tech (2-for-4, 2 HR, 5 RBI) and May 28 versus Nevada (2-for-5, HR, 5 RBI) … Along with his two home runs at Texas Tech, he also hit two home runs in a game against New Mexico State on April 26 … Was named MW Player of the Week three times … Led the Lobos with 160 total bases.

FRESHMAN (2015): Named Freshman All-America by both Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and the NCBWA after setting a UNM freshman record for RBIs with 53 … earned Second Team All-Region honors from the ABCA … also named Second Team All-Mountain West by leading the Lobos in RBIs, hits (75), doubles (21), home runs (9), total bases (127) and HBP (8) … second on the team in runs (45) and slugging (.545) … was the only Lobo to appear in every game, starting 58 out of 59 games … his 21 doubles tied for the freshmen lead in the NCAA … led UNM with 22 multi-hit games and 13 multi-RBI games … had a 14-game hitting streak from April 8 to May 1 … had six straight two-hit games to start the streak and hit .450 (27-for-60) with 12 runs, 19 RBIs, nine doubles and three home runs during it … reached base in team-best 21 straight games from April 8 to May 15 … had a five-RBI game at UNLV on April 18 … named Mountain West Player of the Week on May 11 after going 10-for-16 (.625) with seven runs, 10 RBIs, a double, a triple and two homers … named to the Mountain West All-Tournament Team after hitting .353 (6-for-17) with eight runs scored, three RBIs, two doubles and a two-homer game against Fresno State on May 23.
