Sophomore (2013): Placed 19th in the 15K mass-start freestyle and 24th in the 10K classical in her second trip to the NCAAs in 2013...led the Lobos three times, including a fourth-place finish (tied career-best) in the 5K classical and a ninth-place finish in the 10K freestyle at the UNM Invite, Feb. 1-2...led the Lobos by finishing fourth in the 5K freestyle at the DU Invite on Jan. 19 and finished 11th in the 10K classical on Jan. 20...placed 15th in 15K freestyle and 27th in the 5K classical at the CU Invite, Jan. 12-13.
Freshman (2012): Earned academic distinction as a Lobo Scholar-Athlete...recorded six top-20 finishes and placed in the top 10 twice...finished 18th in the 10K classical at the CU Invitational/Spencer Nelson Memorial on Jan. 14...took ninth in the classical and 12th in the freestyle at the University of Denver Invitational...finished 13th in the freestyle at the Alaska Anchorage Invitational...placed 16th in the 10K freestyle and ninth in the 5K freestyle at the Seawolf Invitational..at the RMISA Championships/NCAA West Regional Feb. 24-25, placed 11th in the 5K freestyle and 15th in the 15K classical...finished 16th in the 15K mass start classic and 28th in the 5K freestyle at NCAA Championships.
Prior to UNM: Graduated from Sotkamon Lukio (Sotkamo High School). Personal: Born in Karkkila, Finland...Daugher of Maarit and Kai Nord...has one sibling, Olli, who is 29...enjoys spending time with her family's dogs and going to dog shows...favorite athletes are Petter Northug and Kimi Räikkönen...lists pepper steak and potatoes as her favorite food...favorite movies include the Pirates of the Caribbean series.
