The Fall Semester Begins for the UNM Spirit ProgramThe University of New Mexico Spirit Program started an exciting 2009 Fall Semester. For the first football game of the season, they traveled to Texas A&M to cheer on the Lobos vs. Aggies.

Cheer Teams take first at UCA College Cheer CampThe University of New Mexico Co-ed Cheer Team, All-Girl Cheer Team and Mascots recently returned from the Universal Cheerleaders Association College Camp held July 18-21 at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.

2009 Lobo Cheer & Dance CampThe University of New Mexico Spirit Program will be hosting the 2009 Lobo Cheer & Dance Camp. Children from the ages of 5-18 are invited to come learn cheers, dances, jumps and stunts from the UNM Cheerleaders and Chaparrals.

Congratulations to the 2009-2010 University of New Mexico Spirit ProgramTryouts for the UNM Cheerleaders, Dancers and Mascots were held this past weekend. Congratulations to the 63 members of the 2009-2010 UNM Spirit Program. The coaching staff is excited for the upcoming year with these new teams. 2/9/2009
UNM Spirit Program Averages 3.0 GPA for Fall 2008Congratulations to the UNM Spirit Program for averaging a 3.0 for the 2008 Fall Semester. Out of the 57 current student athletes, 37 received a 3.0 semester GPA or higher. This includes 8 athletes with a 4.0 semester GPA or higher. Those athletes are Lexi Artrip, Jessi Corbett, Kristen Lilley, Lindsay Lommori, Janelle Rodriguez, Katie Rosengren, Kelley Rowell and Madison Vickers. They have done an outstanding job on the court, in the community and in the classroom.
