Tracy Denton - Spirit Program Coordinator | nmspirit@unm.edu

Tracy Denton was a UNM Cheerleader from 1992-1996 and has been a cheerleading coach at the University since 1996. She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resource Management. Tracy began coaching at the High School level in 1992 and has multiple Regional and State Championships. She was a Universal Cheerleaders' Association (UCA) instructor from 1994-2000 and has judged Regional competitions and High School and College National competitions as seen on ESPN. Tracy is currently the Spirit Program & Community Relations Coordinator for the University of New Mexico.

Brian Denton - Volunteer Coach | UNMCheer@comcast.net

Brian Denton is a graduate of the University of New Mexico where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and was a cheerleader from 1991-1996. He began his coaching career as a stunt coach for West Mesa High School where he helped lead them to two NMAA State Championships in 1996 and 1997. Brian was an instructor and head instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) from 1993-2000. He has been a UCA Advisor Trainer and an AACCA Safety Certifier. He has judged Regional competitions and High School and College National competitions as seen on ESPN. Brian has been a cheerleading coach at UNM since 1996 and is currently the Northern New Mexico Sales Representative & West Region District Sales Manager for Varsity Spirit Fashion.

Jeanine Gallegos - Chaparral Dance Coach

Jeanine Gallegos has been a dancer at Fishback Studio of the Dance for 29 years, and has been a teacher at Fishback for the last 13 years. Jeanine has taught guest class at several studios throughout New Mexico, and has traveled all over the United States as a competitor and teacher at many dance competitions. She graduated from The University of New Mexico in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, while on the nationally ranked UNM All-Girl cheer team for 5 years. During that time she was also an NDA dance instructor. She worked as a personal trainer and manager of Gold's Gym for two years. She is the current Chaparral Dance Team Coach at UNM and achieved a Special Education teaching license and works at Sierra Vista Elementary.

Rob White – Cheerleading Coach

Rob White began his cheerleading career in 1992 as a 5 year member of The University of New Mexico's Co-Ed Cheerleading team. Rob was a member of the Universal Cheerleading Association (UCA) staff from 2001-2003. He has judged many Regional competitions, as well as the UCA High School National Competition as seen on ESPN. Rob began coaching high school teams in 1994 and has numerous Lobo, Metro, and Regional Championships, as well as 4 State Championships. He is currently the head coach of the Eldorado High School Cheerleaders and began coaching at UNM in 2008. Rob is currently employed with Albuquerque Public Schools, and works at Eldorado High School.
