NEW MEXICO:Second-year runner who is the Lobos' top returnee in the 3,000 steeplechase, 1,500 and 5,000 outdoors...should challenge for all-MWC honors and a spot at the NCAA regional meet in the steeplechase...coming off an outstanding cross country season which saw her earn first team all-MWC and all-Mountain Region honors...made an immediate impact in her first cross country and track seasons in the United States after transferring from St. Mary's University in England in the fall of 2008...three-time Academic All-MWC honoree... 2008: (cross country) Scored in all 7 races (2nd on the team 4 times) and notched 3 top-10 (4 top-20) finishes...earned first team all-MWC honors with a 3rd place finish (21:08.1) for the champion Lobos at the MWC Championships...ran 2nd on the team and was just 10 seconds behind the winner...all-region honoree with an 18th place finish (career-best 21:08.1) two weeks later at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships...ran fourth on the team (152nd overall, 21:36.7) at the NCAA Championships to help UNM finish 18th...career-best 2nd place finish at the Lobo Invitational...10th at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational...team captain and Academic All-MWC honoree... 2007-08: (outdoor) Ranked No. 2 on the team and 8th in the MWC in the 3,000m steeplechase with a top time of 10:56.74 (April 5 at Stanford)...also 2nd on the team and 9th in the MWC in the 5,000 with a time of 17:01.42 (April 17 at Mt. SAC Relays)...led the team in the 1,500 (4:37.72 - 19th MWC)...raced 6 times with a top finish of 4th at Arizona State...Academic All-MWC and MWC Scholar-Athlete Award winner... (indoor) Lobos' No. 2 runner in the 3,000 (10:05.34 - 11th MWC) and mile (5:04.67 - 16th MWC)...5 races...won the mile in her debut meet at Northern Arizona...
