2009: (cross country) Scored three times in six races for the nationally-ranked Lobos, including both NCAA meets...earned second team all-MWC honors with a 12th place finish (team No. 6) at the MWC Championships as UNM cruised to its second straight league title...was the Lobos' No. 5 runner (33rd overall) at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships and again at the NCAA Championships (135th overall)...capped the fall with a season-best 6K time of 21:32.9 to help UNM finish 13th - its best since 1981...finished third (team No. 2) as the Lobos put up a score of 17 in the "Duel In The Desert" against New Mexico State...Academic All-MWC.
2008-09: (outdoor) Competed once, running a 5,000 at Stanford...MWC Scholar-Athlete Award winner...(indoor) Did not compete...(cross country) Scored in all 7 races (2nd on the team 4 times) and notched 3 top-10 (4 top-20) finishes...earned first team all-MWC honors with a 3rd place finish (21:08.1) for the champion Lobos at the MWC Championships...ran 2nd on the team and was just 10 seconds behind the winner...all-region honoree with an 18th place finish (career-best 21:08.1) two weeks later at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships...ran fourth on the team (152nd overall, 21:36.7) at the NCAA Championships to help UNM finish 18th...career-best 2nd place finish at the Lobo Invitational...10th at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational...team captain and Academic All-MWC honoree.
