2012 New Mexico 5A State Champion in the 100-meter dash after winning the event with a personal-record 12.45 time...Also claimed first in the 100 at the 2012 APS Metro Championships, while claiming seventh in the 200...Placed top-10 in the 100 and 200 at the 2012 Richard Harper Invitational, finishing fifth (12.87) and sixth (27.00), respectively...Took sixth in the 100 her junior year at the 2011 New Mexico State Championships...Also competed in the long jump as a Hawk, picking up finishes of sixth (15-5, 2012 New Mexico state meet), second (16-6 1/2, 2010 N.M. state meet) and seventh (personal-best 17 3/4, 2010 Marilyn Sepulveda Invitational Meet of Champions).
