A 2003 graduate of Gallup (N.M.) High School...all-district cross country honoree and state meet qualifier as a senior, which was her first year of competition, under coach Curtis Williams...placed ninth at the district XC meet...named rookie of the year and most inspirational in 2002...graduated eighth in her class and earned a scholar award for the track team.
