NEW MEXICO:Veteran leader of the Lobo sprint corps...the team's top threat in the 200 and one of the best 400 runners as well...an all-conference candidate in both events when healthy...has steadily lowered her times each year on the track...has played a key role over the past three years as UNM has developed one of the top sprint groups in the MWC...president of the UNM Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a two-time Academic All-MWC honoree...2005: (outdoor) New Mexico's top-ranked 200-meter runner (6th MWC), recording a PR time of 24.38 (altitude adjusted) at the Don Kirby Invite in Albuquerque...also owned the 5th-fastest 400 time on the team (11th MWC), clocking a 55.58 in San Diego...ran the opening leg of the Lobos' 4x100m team and was the second leg of the 4x400 relay...appeared in 6 meets, finishing among the top-5 four times...qualified for the MWC finals in the 400, but pulled a hamstring during the prelims of the 200 and was lost for the rest of the meet...led the 4x100 relay team to 3 straight victories to cap the regular season and also helped the 4x400 team win at Mesa, Ariz. and at home in the Don Kirby Invite...Academic All-MWC honoree...(indoor) Owned the team's fastest 200 time of the year and was No. 3 on the 400 list...ran a career-best 25.21 in the 200 at Northern Arizona and was clocked at 57.20 in the 400 at Air Force...notched three top-5 finishes...also helped the 4x400 team to a pair of 3rd place finishes...2004: (outdoor) Clocked the Lobos' fastest 200 and 400m times of the spring and was an MWC finalist in both events...ran a PR 55.28 in the MWC 400-meter prelims to advance to the finals, where she placed 7th...later finished 8th in the 200 finals...recorded a PR 200 time of 24.53 at San Diego's Triton Invitational...won 3 400-meter races during the spring, taking gold medals at the Willie Williams Classic, Mesa Classic and Don Kirby Invitational...also led both relay teams to 5th place finishes at the MWC Championships...part of the Lobos' winning 4x100 team at the Mesa Classic and first place 4x400 team at the Triton Invite...(indoor) Paced the team in the 60 (8.02), 200 (25.43) and 400 (57.16)...earned her first career victory in the 400 at Northern Arizona...2003: (outdoor) Turned in a solid collegiate debut, leading the Lobos' in both the 200 (24.94) and 400 (56.68)...just missed making the 400-meter finals at the MWC Championship meet...was ninth in the prelims, one-tenth of a second shy of qualifying...ran the lead leg on both the 4x100 and 4x400m relay teams that finished sixth at the MWC Championships...three top-3 individual finishes on the season...academic all-MWC honoree...(indoor) Competed in all five indoor meets...ranked second on the team in the 200 (26.48) and 400 (58.87).HIGH SCHOOL:Four-year letterwinner in track at Houston-area Bellaire (Texas) High School under head coach Ruby Newsome...set Bellaire school record in the 400m with time of 56.8...also recorded top time of 24.8 in the 200...attended Lamar High School in Houston for two years as a freshman and sophomore and was a member of LHS regional qualifying 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams...also lettered three years in cross country...PERSONAL:Born on Oct. 29, 1983 in Houston, Texas...age is 21...daughter of Jamie and Kimberly House...has two sisters, Lori (16), and Ashtin (5)...favorite athlete is Jackie Joyner-Kersee...major is Business.200: 25.21, 400: 57.16
