NEW MEXICO:Two-sport athlete who is also a three-time All-American Nordic skier for the powerhouse Lobo ski team...runner-up in the 15K classic race at the 2008 NCAA Skiing Championships...joined the cross country/track team midway through the fall of 2007 and made an immediate impact...competes in cross country and outdoor track only after her skiing commitments are completed...has 2 years of eligibility remaining... 2008: (cross country) Appeared in 4 meets, scoring once...career-best 11th to open the season at the Lobo Invitational...Lobos' No. 8 runner at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational (season-best 22:56.7), Notre Dame and the MWC Championships (33rd)...Academic All-MWC... 2007-08: (outdoor) No. 2 on the team (22nd MWC) in the 1,500 (4:39.02) and No. 3 (16th MWC) in the 5,000 (17:41.04)...raced 7 times in her debut track season...season-best 5th place finish in the 1,500 at Cal... (cross country) Competed in 3 meets, running with the top-7 each time...4th on the team (142nd overall) with a season-best 6K time of 22:09 in her first official distance race at the elite Pre-Nationals Invitational (Oct. 13) in Terre Haute, Ind...was the Lobos' No. 6 runner at the MWC (34th) and NCAA Mountain Region (71st) Championship meets... PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:No organized track and field or cross country training before coming to UNM... PERSONAL:Born in Moscow, Russia...daughter of Andrey and Elena Ermoshina...has a brother, Fedor...was the first Russian to ski for UNM...majoring in Economics.
