NEW MEXICO:Long distance specialist who enrolled at at UNM in August of 2009 after transferring from St. Mary's University College in England...made an immediate impact in his debut cross country season, running with the top seven most of the year for the powerful UNM men's team.
2010 (outdoor):Ran in one race...clocked a time of 28:42.51 at the Stanford Invite for a 5th place finish.
2009: (cross country) Made five meet appearances for the nationally ranked Lobos', scoring as the team's No. 4 man at the Pre-Nationals meet (77th overall, season-best 8K of 24:48.7)...22nd (team's No. 8) at the MWC Championships and ran seventh on the team at the NCAA Championships (161st overall)...won the open 8K race at the Notre Dame Invitational...Academic All-MWC.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:Attended St. Mary's University College in London...runner-up at the 2008 British University cross country championships...clocked a top 10,000m time of 29:31.84 in a 5th place finish at the 2009 United Kingdom national championships...also a best of 14:12.3 at the `09 BMC Nike Grand Prix...competed for the British national team at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, finishing 96th on the 12K course in Amman, Jordan in March of `09...two-time British University silver medalist on the track in the 5,000 (2008) and 10,000 (2006)...7th at the 2008 European XC Championships U-23 race.
