Joe Franklin's track squad notched 25 top-ten finishes to start the outdoor season

ARIZONA STATE

2012 Outdoor: Opened at the Baldy Castillo Invitational as she placed 10th with a 117-5 (35.80m) throw...Posted a season-best toss of 118-0 (35.97m) at the Arizona State Invitational, placing 10th...Finished 16th at the Sun Angel Classic with a 112-7 (34.32m) throw...Notched a 12th-place throw of 91-0 (27.74m) at the Mesa Classic...Placed third at the ASU-Arkansas-LSU Tri-Meet, throwing the spear 110-8 (33.74m)...Took fifth at the UA/ASU/NAU Double Dual Meet, reaching 109-9 (33.45m).

2011 Outdoor:Set a career-best throw in the javelin at the Baldy Castillo Invitational with a throw of 124-5 (37.92m) to take first place...Consistently ranked in the top five in her other competitions on the season
