Lobos Post Strong Performance Down South to Open 2012 Outdoors

Joe Franklin's track squad notched 29 top-ten finishes to start the outdoor season

NEW MEXICO:

2011 Outdoor: Competed at two meets, both in pole vault...Placed 15th unattached at the UNM Tailwind Invitational with a mark of 10'7" (3.23m)...Tenth-place finish at the UTEP Invitational, vaulting 11'-2.25" (3.41m).

HIGH SCHOOL:

Pole vaulted for coach Jeff Guy at Desert Vista HS...Vaulted progressively better throughout high school, going from 9'6" freshman year, 11'0" sophomore year, 11'9" junior year to 12'1" senior year...Outstanding Pole Vaulter of the Year in 2009...Won Scholar-Athlete Award in high school.
