UNM Track - January 2012

The Lobos start to 2012 year by travelling to the NAU Open and hosting the Cherry & Silver and the New Mexico Invite.

NEW MEXICO

2012 Indoor: Competed at five meets, all in the 400-meter dash...Took 23rd at the season-opening NAU Lumberjack Open, finishing in 1:03.87*...At the UNM home meets, placed 43rd at the Cherry & Silver Invite (1:02.49*), 18th at the New Mexico Invite (1:01.49*) and 34th at the New Mexico Classic (1:01.74*)...Took 21st in the preliminary round of the 400 at the Mountain West Indoor Championships, finishing in 1:02.78*.

2012 Outdoor: Redshirted the 2012 Outdoor.

HIGH SCHOOL

Graduated in 2011 and lettered in four sports throughout her high school career: Soccer, Track, Swimming, and Wrestling...Coached by Joanne Calahan...Named District player of the year in 2010 for soccer...Also a top ten scorer in the state the same year...Qualified for Nationals in Girls Wrestling and placed fifth...At theState track meet in 2011, placed 5th in the 400M.
