When an athlete joins the University of New Mexico track and field program, they become part of a special championship history. Few programs in America can boast the proud tradition of excellence that exists at New Mexico.

Since 1958, Lobo athletes have earned All-America honors 94 times, won 13 national event titles, 5 regional events and 225 conference events. As a team, the UNM men and women have notched 25 top-30 national finishes and placed among the top-15 in the country 15 times.

At New Mexico the success of today was built upon a foundation of pride, tradition, and a commitment to excellence that will never be forgotten.
