Long distance specialist who was one of the top cross country and track runners in the MWC in her first year running in America in 2008-09...transfered from the University of Birmingham in England and enrolled at UNM in the fall of `08...All-America candidate and MWC title contender this fall after leading the Lobos at the 2008 NCAA Cross Country Championships and finishing 14th in the 10,000m at the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track Championships...first team all-MWC XC runner and two-time outdoor all-MWC honoree on the track...ran in the London Marathon from 2004-06 and was the top young marathoners in U.K. history...outstanding in the classroom as well with a 3.94 graduate GPA.

2008-09: (outdoor) Ranked 2nd on the team behind senior Michelle Corrigan in both the 10,000 (3rd MWC/29th NCAA) and 5,000m (6th MWC)...finished 14th - 11 spots above her seed - in her NCAA Track Championships debut with a time of 34:57.83 in the 10,000...she and Corrigan were the first UNM women to qualify for NCAAs in the event since 1997...clocked a career-best time of 34:32.21 - 5th all-time at UNM - in the 10K on March 27 at Stanford...earned all-Midwest Region honors with an 8th place finish in the 5,000, clocking a 16:40.31 - 5th fastest all-time at UNM - on May 29 in Norman, Okla...Lobos' high-point woman at the MWC Championship meet in Laramie, Wyo. - the highest Division I track stadium in the country - putting up 14 points with all-MWC performances in the 5K (2nd) and 10K (3rd)...raced 7 times (4 10Ks) in 5 meets...Academic All-MWC and MWC Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
(indoor) Led the team in the 3,000 (9:40.71 - 6th MWC) and ranked second in the 5,000 (3rd MWC/56th NCAA) behind senior Michelle Corrigan with an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 16:40.64 (March 7 at Notre Dame)...also No. 2 on the team (6th MWC) in the mile (4:55.59)...finished 5th in the 3K and 9th in the 5K at the MWC Championships...won the 3K at home at the New Mexico Invitational in her UNM track debut...6 races on the season.

Attended the University of Birmingham (England) from 2004-07...was the United Kingdom's top-ranked 10,000-meter runner under 23 in 2007 with a best of 36:05.93...clocked the time in a fourth place finish at the 2007 British University Championships...personal best of 16:35.12 in the 5,000 meters was recorded in an 11th place finish at the Great Britain National Championships/Olympic Trials in July of 2008...competed in the London Marathon from 2004-06 with a top time of 2:53.52 in '06...ranks No. 2 on the U.K. all-time list for marathoners under age 20.
