Two-sport athlete who is also a five-time All-American Nordic competitor for the powerhouse Lobo ski team...runner-up in the 5K classic at the 2009 NCAA Skiing Championships after a silver medal peformance in the 15K classic in 2009...joined the cross country/track team midway through the fall of 2007 and made an immediate impact...competes in cross country and outdoor track only after her skiing commitments are completed...has scored twice in 7 career XC races...name is pronounced pol-EE-na ehr-mo-SHEE-na.

2008-09: (outdoor) Ranked 3rd on the team in the 1,500 with a season-best time of 4:40.72 at Cal...also clocked a career-best time of 17:23.88 in the 5,000m at the same meet...raced 5 times in 4 meet appearances...Academic All-MWC.
(cross country) Appeared in 4 meets, scoring once...career-best 11th to open the season at the Lobo Invitational...Lobos' No. 8 runner at Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational (season-best 22:56.7), Notre Dame and the MWC Championships (33rd)...Academic All-MWC.
