Stevens: Lobos Cross Country At NCAA Mountain Region

Joe Franklin's Lobos swept the Mountain Region in 2010, but this time around UNM is just hoping to advance to NCAA finals

UNM:

(Cross Country, 2010) top runner for UNM...helped lead team to MW Champions and Regional Champions...All-American in XC whilst helping the team to a 5th place finish at Nationals...(Indoor,2011) Qualified for nationals in the 5,000m along with teammate Ruth Senior...(Outdoor,2011)had a great season that led her to have personal bests in both the 5k(15:52) and 10k(33:20)...qualified for regionals in both races, but unfortunately a bad injury forced her to pull out from both races...will be a top returner this upcoming season...

PREVIOUS:

A 2006 graduate of Invicta Grammar School for Girls, Maidstone, Kent, U.K...Also attended Loughborough University until 2010 where she received a 2:1 degree in Management Science...Placed 1st the British University Championships in 2010...Represented Great Britain at the European Cross Country Championships in 2009 where she placed 18th individually and her team took 1st...coached by Bill Foster.
