Talented, experienced distance runner who coach Matt Henry calls the backbone of the men's team...he and Ben Ortega were two of Henry's first signees when he took over the program in 2000...is one of four fifth-year seniors on the squad this year...has continued to make strides in each season and could be poised for a breakthrough cross country campaign this fall.

2004: (outdoor) One of the Lobos' top 1,500 and 5,000 runners...placed sixth in the 5,000 at the MWC Championships and clocked a season-best 5K time of 14:44.46 at the Mt. SAC Relays...owned the team's fastest 1,500 of the year, a career-best time of 3:49.92 at home at the Lobo Invite...academic all-MWC honoree...(indoor) Finished sixth at the MWC meet in the 3,000, just behind teammate Matt Gonzales, with a time of 8:22.88...notched three runner-up finishes, including a career-best mile time of 4:11.01 at NAU.

2003: (cross country) Redshirt season...(outdoor) NCAA regional qualifier in the 5,000, clocking a personal-best time of 14:23.55 in the season-opener at Stanford...owned the third and fourth-fastest 5K times on the team...placed 9th in the event at the MWC Championships and 19th at the Midwest Regional Championships...(indoor) Lobos' top-ranked miler and No. 2 3,000-meter runner...finished 8th in the mile finals at the MWC Championships, clocking a season-best time of 4:12.29...four top-four finishes to open the season...was third in the 3K at Nebraska with a season-best time of 8:25.10.

2002: (cross country) Was one of the Lobos' most consistent performers, scoring in all six meets...clutch performance at the MWC Championship meet helped carry UNM to its best conference finish (3rd) in 11 years...improved 23 spots from 2001 to finish 19th overall and third on the team...also notched personal-best 8K (24:48) and 10K (31:51) times along with three top-20 finishes...owned the MWC's 11th-fastest 8K time...academic all-MWC honoree...(outdoor) Competed in seven distance races...clocked fourth-fastest 10K time (32:13.43) en route to a ninth place finish at the the MWC Championships...a pair of second place finishes in the 5K at the Mesa Classic and in the 3K at the UTEP Twilight...(indoor) Was ranked second on the team in the 3,000 (8:37.90) and was third in the 5K (15:11.83)...third in the 3K at the Wolfpack Invitational and took fourth in the event in the invitational section at the Mountain T Invitational.
