Veteran distance runner who will push for a spot on the travel squad this fall...6 career cross country races...MWC finalist in the 3,000 steeplechase in 2007...has redshirt seasons available in cross country and indoor track...cousin of Boston Red Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsberry, who helped the team win the 2007 World Series as a rookie.

2008-09: (outdoor) Raced 5 times in 4 meets...3K runner-up at UTEP...season-best 4:48.01 in the 1,500 at Cal.
(indoor) Raced 3 times in 3 home meet appearances...No. 5 on the team with a career-best time of 10:40.89 in the 3,000m.
(cross country) Made one official meet appearance at New Mexico State (36th).

2007-08: (outdoor) Redshirt season.
(indoor) Competed in 2 mile races at Northern Arizona and Air Force.
(cross country) Ran in the first 2 meets of the year...3rd on the team and 22nd overall in a B team race at New Mexico State.

2006-07: (outdoor) Led the team in the 3,000m steeplechase with a season-best time of 11:15.58 at San Diego...placed 7th in the event at the MWC Championships (11:29.32)...raced 6 times in 5 meets.
(indoor) Competed 8 times in 6 meets...ran the 800, mile and 3,000m...helped the DMR team finish sixth at the MWC Championships...led the team in the mile (5:30.38) and was No. 2 in the 3K (10:52.18).
(cross country) Came on strong after missing the first month of the season due to injuries...was the team's No. 6 runner in two of her three meet appearances, including the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Albuquerque (80th overall)...season-best 6K time of 23:44.4 at the regional meet...Academic All-MWC honoree.

HIGH SCHOOL:

A 2006 graduate of Albuquerque Highland High School...two-time class 5A 1,600m champion and also won the 800 (school record 2:20.12) as a junior...district champion and state runner-up in cross country as a senior...finished behind current UNM teammate Vanessa Ortiz (Cibola HS) at the state meet...third in the 800 and fifth in the 1,600 at the '06 state track meet...also placed third in the 3,200m at the state meet as a sophomore, clocking a school record time of 11:35.68...competed under coaches Elmer Martinez (track) and Andy Murray...earned 17 academic/athletic varsity letters in high school, participating in track, volleyball, basketball, ROTC, student senate and national honor society...All Academic honoree in cross country...was named Homecoming Queen and Military Ball Queen.

Born in Albuquerque, N.M...daughter of Michael Dickinson and Dorothy McCabe...has a younger brother, Tony, who is a sophomore on the Highland HS track and XC teams...cousin Nana Allison-Brewer was a standout volleyball player at UNM (1996-99) and is currently head coach at South Dakota State...uncle Marvin McCabe ran and was a cross country skier at BYU...major is Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science.
