Fifth-year senior who has emerged as one of the best distance runners in the region over the past year...earned first team all-MWC and all-NCAA Mountain Region honoree in cross country last fall and went on to earn indoor all-MWC honors in the 3,000m before redshirting outdoors...could help lead the Lobos into the NCAA Championship meet with another strong, healthy cross country season in 2006...has one year of outdoor eligibility remaining in the spring...

2005-06:

(indoor) Led the MWC with a school record and NCAA provisional qualifying time of 9:33.11 in the 3,000m, recorded in Seattle at the Washington Last Chance Qualifier (3rd)...finished the year ranked 49th in the nation in the event...runner-up in the 3,000 at the MWC Championship meet (9:37.20)...finished behind High Point Award winner Nicole Feest of CSU, but defeated top-seeded Ann Heiner and Chelsea McKell (nationally ranked in the 5,000m) of BYU to give the Lobos their first all-MWC honoree in the event...finished among the top-5 in all eight individual races, including 7 top-3 efforts...won the 3K at the Albuquerque Invite and Mark Shumate Open...also earned all-MWC honors with the UNM distance medley relay team (3rd - school record time of 11:56.70) and clocked the team's fastest mile time (4:58.24)...

(cross country) Breakthrough season, helping to lead the UNM women to their best-ever MWC finish...came off a redshirt year to earn first team all-conference and all-NCAA Mountain Region honors for the first time in her career...finished among the top-20 in all five meets...with senior leader Jacquelyne Gallegos slowed with an injury later in the year, she shined as the Lobos' No. 1 runner, placing 7th at Auburn and a career-high 3rd at the MWC Championships - the best by a UNM woman at a conference meet since 1992...sliced over a minute of her 6K PR at the conference meet, finishing with a time of 21:06.7...also placed 12th earlier in the year at Stanford...improved 50 spots on her previous best finish to place 19th at the Mountain Region Championships...

2004-05:
(outdoor) Owned the team's No. 2 1,500-meter time (4:55.49) and ran the fourth-fastest 5K (18:00.04)...was fourth in the 5K at Arizona and again in the 1,500 at UTEP...

(indoor) Had the second fastest 5K and fourth fastest 3K on the team (10:34.43)...pair of top-10 finishes...

(cross country) Redshirted due to injuries sustained during preseason training...

2003-04:
(outdoor) Just missed qualifying for the NCAA regional meet in the 5,000 when she clocked a career-best time of 17:13.59 at the Mt. SAC Relays...time was also the fastest ever run in coach Matt Henry's tenure...placed fourth in the 5K at UTEP and was third in the 1,500 at the Mesa Classic...

(indoor) Solid campaign, running 8 races over the winter...scored at the MWC meet for the first time in her career with an eighth place finish in the 5,000, clocking a career-best time of 17:53.74...season-high runner-up finishes at Texas Tech (3,000) and Houston (5K)...

(cross country) Turned in a fine season, running no lower than third on the team in all six races...led the Lobos at the Great American Classic and finished a career-best fourth to help the women win the Canyon West Classic meet...season-best 6K time of 23:26 at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships...

2002-03:
