Lobos fall to Aggies, 13-8

SENIOR (2012): Redshirted the season after getting injured a week before the season started ... recovered and had a solid summer campaign for the Duluth Huskies in the Northwoods League ... appeared in 42 games and tied for fourth in the league with 18 doubles and was seventh with a .350 average, which was enough to earn an All-Star berth ... slugged .564 with one triple, five home runs, 35 RBI, and 39 runs ... will be a prominent figure in the Lobos' potent 2013 offense.

JUNIOR (2011): Second on the Lobos with a .301 batting average in his first year on the team... his five home runs and .448 slugging percentage were also second on the team ... only started three out of first 12 games for the Lobos, but started every game but one from Mar. 30 until the end of the season ... had a 15-game hitting streak from Apr. 1 through Apr. 29 ... hit .322 (19-59) during the streak ... had season-high four hits against TCU on May 20 ... named to 2011 MWC All-Tournament Team . . . was 6-15 during the tournament with two runs and three RBI.
