El Paso CC (2003-04) - Played two seasons under current UNM assistant coach Ken Jacome at El Paso Community College...named a WJCAC All-Conference selection both years...batted .280 with five homers and 23 RBI in 37 games in 2003...hit .288 with one homer, 12 RBI and seven doubles in 43 games in 2004...caught 27 out of 61 base stealers last season...named to the Dean's List in 2002 and 2004.

High School - Lettered for three years under Steve Contreras at Los Lunas High School...first-team all-district pitcher and catcher his senior season...was also named a North/South All-Star...led team to a state runner-up finish in 2002...first-team all-district catcher as a junior.
