Kris Didion is in his second season at New Mexico after after coaching at Washington State University.

Didion played two years of professional baseball in the Kansas City Royals organization before retiring due to an injury. Orginally from Riverside, Calif., Didion was drafted in the fourth round by Kansas City out of high school after being named among Baseball America's Top 100 prospects. He went on to play collegiate baseball at Tulane, were he garnered Freshman All-America and honorable mention All-America honors, and was an Olympic trial invitee in 1996.

After his injury, Didion turned to the coaching ranks, and led Treasure Valley Community College to a regional berth in the NJCAA Playoffs in his first head coaching stint. Didion then coached at Washington State University, and he is currently finishing a degree from WSU.
