2004 (Junior) - Started 28 games at catcher...fourth on the team with nine homers, which equaled his career-high...scored 24 runs and collected 20 hits...nailed first homer of the season at Texas A&M (2/28)...also went 2-for-4 with two runs in that game...second homer of the season at TCU (3/14)...solo homer vs. San Diego State (3/27)...game-winning homer with a solo shot in the bottom of the seventh inning in UNM's 1-0 win over BYU (4/2)...scored career-high four runs and hit two-run homer at Air Force (4/17)...two-run homer at UNLV (4/24)...2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI and a homer vs. Air Force (5/15)...two runs and two hits vs. Arizona State (5/18)...2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI vs. Air Force (5/27) in MWC Tournament...solo homer vs. San Diego State (5/28).

2002 (Freshman) - As a redshirt freshman, Grady performed well, batting .275 in 14 games, including 12 starts...had one home run, 13 RBI and 17 total bases in 40 plate at-bats...also scored six runs and had three doubles...two hits three times...season-high four RBI against San Diego State (5/11)...was the second-string quarterback on the football team until he decided to focus solely on baseball...did not get into any football games as a redshirt freshman in 2001...hit .500 in UNM's fall intrasquad scrimmages.
