Senior ('08): Appeared in 16 games, starting one...played a variety of roles including pinch-hitter, designated hitter, outfield and second base...batted .278 in 18 at-bats with two RBI...went 2-for-4 against Eastern Michigan on Feb. 23...named a MWC All-Academic honoree. Junior ('07): Named to the MWC All-Academic team... started at second base and hit in the leadoff spot, going 2-for-4 with three runs scored at New Mexico State (2/20) ... drew three walks, drove in two and scored once vs. Texas State (2/24)... perfect as a pinch hitter in the Hawaii-Hilo series opener (4/27), going 1-for-1 with a run scored. Sophomore ('06): A role-filler this season, saw time in the infield, outfield and on the mound ... made 12 appearances in the field, including four starts while appearing 20 times as a pitcher... finished nine games, the 10th most of all pitchers in the MWC... made his first appearance on the mound at Arizona (2/17), allowing just one hit with one strikeout in 1.2 innings ... picked up his first career hit, run scored, RBI and walk at NMSU (2/28)... only Lobo who did not allow a hit to Texas Tech (5/10) ... earned the win vs. Utah (5/25) at the MWC Tournament, going 1.2 innings with a strikeout. Freshman ('04 & '05): Redshirted in 2004, recieved a medical hardsip for the 2005 season after suffering an ankle injury 12 games into the season... collected RBI single in first collegiate at-bat at Arizona (2/5)... hit his first career homer and double vs. Texas State on Feb. 19. High School: A finesse shortstop who also saw a bit of pitching in his high school career ... OIA West second-team selection his senior year ... hit .375 his junior year to earn all-state honorable mention and OIA first-team honors ... during the summer of 2002, batted .439 (36-82) in American Legion play and at the Western States Classic Baseball Tournament combined ... also pitched two games his junior year, striking out 12 and walking one in 12.1 innings ... posted a .949 fielding percentage ... named to the OIA West second-team as a sophomore ... a magna cum laude graduate.
