FRESHMAN (2011): Started 15 games for the Lobos and posted a 2-6 record with a 6.34 ERA ... pitched 76.2 innings, which was the second-highest total on the team ... earned first win of season Mar. 25 against UNLV ... went 7.1 innings and allowed only one run on four hits and two walks, while matching his season-high with seven strikeouts ... threw a complete game shutout against Air Force on May 7 to pick up his second win ... only allowed four hits but walked a season-high five batters ... one of only three Lobos pitchers to start more than five games ... of the 42 batters he struck out, 16 of them struck out looking ... hurled 46.1 innings before allowing his first (and only) home run of the season.
