Senior (2009): Named to the Academic All-Mountain West Conference team...started eight games and made three relief appearances for a 4-2 record and 4.38 ERA...struck out 27 over 39.0 innings with 17 walks...tossed a career-high six innings in four of his eight starts...started the season 4-0...earned first win of the season on Feb. 22 over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, scattering six hits and one earned run...struck out six in second win of season on Feb. 28 against Northern Colorado...set a career-best with seven strikeouts over BYU on March 28...allowed two runs and three hits in 3.1 innings of relief over three outings, striking out a combined four.

Summer 2008: Played for the Lodi GrapeSox of the Sierra League in California over the summer...went 5-1.

Sophomore 2006: Went 0-1 with a 12.15 ERA...started two games... struck out three in 2.2 innings in his second start of the season...sidelined most of the of the season due to an elbow injury...received a medical redshirt and had Tommy John surgery during the off-season.

Freshman 2005: Threw three innings in first career start at Texas Tech on Feb. 8, allowing two hits and two runs, one earned while striking out two...hurled three innings of relief at Texas Tech on May 16, striking out two...0-2 record with a 13.50 ERA.

High School: Played for Coach Michael Chavez at Moriarty High School...named a first-team all-district pitcher and outfielder his senior year...first-team all-district pitcher and second-team all-metro pitcher his junior year... was also named a second-team all-district outfielder his junior year...struck out 16 batters in the state semifinals, leading his team to the state championship game while setting a new playoff high for strikeouts in a New Mexico state tournament game.
