2003 (Junior) - Breakout season at the plate, leading the team with a .383 average, which was also third in the Mountain West...started 50 games and saw action in 57, mostly in right field...put together a 20-game hitting streak, which is the ninth-longest in UNM history...collected 85 hits, 20 doubles and 58 runs...career-high seven homers and 60 RBI to go along with a .577 slugging percentage and .437 on-base percentage...five stolen bases in six attempts...had a .969 fielding percentage including 11 assists, committing only three errors in 97 chances...went 3-for-5 with four RBI and four runs against Oregon State (2/21), 2-for-5 with three RBI in a rematch with the Beavers and then went 4-for-4 against New Mexico State (2/23) to earn Mountain West Player of the Week honors...batted a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI vs. Northern Colorado (3/17)...had three hits in a career-high seven at-bats vs. Northwestern (3/7)...turned in a 5-for-6 performance at BYU (3/13-14)...4-for-6 with three RBI at Air Force (5/2)...had a .556 average 10 games into the season and stayed above .400 until April 17...went hitless in consecutive games only twice all season...career-high seven putouts against San Diego State (4/13)...second-team District VI Verizon Academic All-America selection...All-Mountain West Academic honoree. 2001 (Freshman) - Hit .275 in limited action...played in 20 games with 14 starts...three multi-hit games and three multi-RBI contests...excellent eye at the plate - struck out just 7 times in 51 at-bats, including none in his first 34 plate appearances...career-high four RBI vs. NMSU (2/27)...career-high three hits vs. Hofstra (3/6)...top hit streak was four games (6-13, .461).

High School - Was a five-year letterwinner for coach Richard Ball at Academy HS in Albuquerque...team won back-to-back state titles while he was there...as a senior, hit .555 with 7 HR, 12 doubles and 45 RBI...was named all-district all four years of HS, and was first team all-state as a senior...played in the 2000 North/South All-Star game...hit .410 with nine homers and 50 RBI for Albuquerque Cubs in 2000 Connie Mack season, en route to state title.
