Gerard Pineda Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach Experience: 1st Season

Gerard Pineda is in his first year on the Lobo coaching staff. Pineda, an Albuquerque native, will work mainly with infielders.

Pineda spent last year as a volunteer coach at New Mexico Junior College where he was in charge of infield and defensive instruction. In 2004, he was the interim head baseball coach at El Paso Community College after being an assistant for three years. Pineda is an 18-year veteran of college baseball.
