Lobos vs. Creighton

Lobos fall to Creighton, 4-3 in the first game of the series.

JUNIOR (2011): Recorded a team-high seven saves to go along with his 2-3 record and 5.26 ERA in 21 appearances ... began the season in the starting rotation and started five games before moving to the bullpen ... earned his first save in his first relief appearance on Mar. 23 against Binghamton ... struck out 64 batters in only 53 innings ... his .258 batting average against led the team ... was named the West Region's National Pitcher of the Week by collegebaseballinsider.com for week of March 21-27 ... appeared in four games and earned four saves that week, pitching 5.1 shutout innings, allowing only one hit and no walks while striking out six ... struck out a season-high 10 and earned his first win in his start against UTSA on Mar. 4 ... pitched four innings in MWC Tournament in two appearances, allowing only one unearned run while striking out six.
