Lobos Are Back-to-Back Mountain West Tournament Champions

UNM captures its second straight conference tournament championship with a 22-3 win over San Diego State

SENIOR (2012): One of only two Lobos to start all 61 games ... named a second team All-Mountain West performer ... hit a career-high .304 with 46 runs, 72 hits, 37 RBIs, 12 doubles, four triples, and one home run ... had a season-high nine-game hitting streak from May 12 through May 26 ... recorded at least two hits in all but one of those games and hit .450 (18-40) with 11 runs and eight RBIs during the streak ... recorded a season-high four hits against TCU on Mar. 25 and against San Diego St. in the MW Tournament championship game on May 26 ... had season-high four RBIs Mar. 9 against Gonzaga ... finished the season with 21 multi-hit games ... led the Lobos with 178 assists in the field at second base, third base, and shortstop ... ended his UNM career by reaching base in each of his final 26 games.
