Physical guard who is an excellent transition player • Has had surgery on both of his feet since January 2005 • Rated as a top-10 junior college point guard in 2004 by various recruiting analysts • Transferred to UNM from Iowa Western CC where he was a teammate of Lobo newcomer Kyle Prochaska in 2003-04 • Former Lobo Wayland White also played for the Reivers prior to coming to UNM in 1999.

2005-06 • Senior Season
Started 18 games, playing in all 30 • Averaged 5.2 ppg, 2.3 apg and 2.1 rpg • Shot 41.6% from the field and 5-27 from 3-pt. range • Tied for second on the team in assists.

2004-05 • Junior Season
Started 18 of the first 19 games, averaging 8.0 ppg, 2.2 rpg and led the team with 2.9 apg • Fractured the fifth metatarsal in his right foot in practice on Jan. 26...had surgery on Jan. 31 and missed the last 14 games of the season • Shot 50.9% from the field, including 62.7% from inside the 3-pt. line • Scored in double figures five times.

Averaged 14.8 points and 3.8 assists per game as the starting point guard at Iowa Western • 1st Team NJCAA All-Region XI • Led the team to a 25-8 record under head coach Jim Morris • Iowa Western sent seven players to Division I schools.

2002-03 • Redshirt Season
Collins signed with Minnesota but never played for the Gophers • He transferred to Iowa Western CC and sat out the entire season.

2001-02 • Freshman Season
Initially signed with Collin County JC in Plano, Texas out of high school • Averaged 16.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 5.7 assists per game for the Express • Earned NJCAA All-Region V honors.
