Craig Snow Position: Assistant Coach Experience: 3rd year Alma Mater: University of Evansville, 2001

Craig Snow is in his third season with the University of New Mexico, and his first season an assistant coach. He previously spent a year as the Director of Basketball Operations after spending the 2011-12 season as the Video Administrator for the New Mexico Lobos, He came to the university after serving as the boys' basketball coach and athletic director at Bosque in Albuquerque.

As assistant coach, he will be a part of Head Coach Craig Neal's first staff, and he will handle all facets of coaching, from on-the-court, to practice planning to scouting and recruiting.

Last year as the director of basketball operations, Snow handled many of the day-to-day duties of the office, including all facets of team and coach travel, equipment, and planning and logistics. Snow also worked closely with UNM's video administrator and assistant coaches on the road to make sure the coaching staff had everything they needed for success on the road.

As DOBO, Snow also coordinated UNM basketball's academic planning with the Academic Support Team, and he oversaw UNM's study hall. In his first semester overseeing academics the team set a program record with a 2.89 grade point average.

As the video administrator, Snow handled all facets of UNM's extensive video library, specifically breaking down game footage and practice footage, and handling UNM's film exchange program. Snow also aided in scouting report preparation and breakdown.

UNM's reputation as one of the most prepared teams in the nation only was enhanced with Snow helming UNM's video services. He successfully implemented UNM's new video editing system, and introduced new technology to the staff, allowing the coaching staff greater access to video breakdowns of future opponents, UNM game film, and practice footage, whether or not the coaches are in the comfort of their offices, or 35,000-feet in the air.Snow also had the additional responsibilities of overseeing UNM's managers, who handle many of the behind-the-scenes tasks that allow the coaches and staff to fully concentrate on winning games and preparing UNM's student-athletes for the court and the classroom.

Snow played for four years at Evansville University, scoring 1,530 points. A deadly shooter, he hit 39.2% of his three-pointers and was 76.4% from the line. For his career he averaged 12.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting .464 overall from the field.

He finished his career ranked among the MVC top-30 all-time in points, field goals, field goal attempts, and field goal percentage.

Snow spent the past five years as director of athletics and varsity boys' basketball coach at Bosque in Albuquerque. He received his B.S. from the University of Evansville in 2001. After college, he played professional basketball in both Luxembourg and Austria. Craig and his wife Jessica have a daughter, Adelynn, and a son Beckett. Jessica received her Ph. D. from the University of New Mexico in 2009.
