Lobos Headed To San Jose for 2010 NCAA Tournament; Ticket and Travel Information

NCAA Men's Basketball First and Second Rounds in San Jose Ticket Information Due to the limited number of tickets that schools are allotted, Lobo Club contributors and UNM students have been given priority in the distribution of the tickets for the University of New Mexico's 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament first and second rounds at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif. At this point UNM has received requests for the full allotment of the tickets available for Lobo Club members and season ticket holders. Should cancellations occur, all remaining tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16 at the UNM Ticket Office at the Student Services and Support Center, located on the northwest corner of Avenida Cesar Chavez and University SE. Tickets can also be ordered by calling 505-925-LOBO (5626) or 1-800-955-4695 number beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16. Tickets are $83 per ticket for the each individual round. According to the NCAA website all-session tickets for San Jose's first and second round are available through the NCAA via their website. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets. Student tickets will be made available on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UNM Ticket Office at the Student Services and Support Center. Tickets for students will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Each student will be allowed one student ticket and must have their Lobo ID to purchase a ticket. Student tickets will be available for pick-up with ID on site at the HP Pavilion in San Jose prior to the first round game on Thursday.
Tickets sold through UNM will be designated as an automatic package based on UNM's advancement to the second round. Since the NCAA only provides tickets to those schools participating in each of the first and second rounds UNM will only receive second round tickets should the men's basketball team win their first round game. If UNM advances to the second round, all fans who purchased first round tickets through the UNM ticket office will be charged for the second round as well.
