University of New Mexico senior J.R. Giddens was named high-major All-American by CollegeHoops.net today. Giddens led the Mountain West Conference in scoring (18.3 ppg) and rebounding (8.3 rpg) during league games while guiding the Lobos to a 24-9 record (11-5 MWC).

Giddens received third team consideration from the web-based publication.
