2006 (SENIOR): Got off to a slow start in the season-opener, but has established himself as one of the MWC's marquee defensive players over the past 9 games...leads the MWC with a career-high 94 tackles, ranking 20th nationally with 9.4 per game...69 stops with just 5 missed tackles in the past 7 games (9.9 avg.)...has an MWC-best 7 double-digit tackle games which he recorded consecutively in weeks 2-8...it was the longest streak by a Lobo since Brian Urlacher in the final 8 games of the 1998 season...has been a big playmaker in pass coverage, recording 2 interceptions (50 return yards), 3 break-ups and punishing receivers across the middle...has also gotten in on 2 tackles for loss (1.0 officially), forced a fumble and notched 3 QB hurries...57 tackles (1st MWC), 2 INTs (T3rd MWC) and (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 12 games on special teams and in spot defensive duty...was the first LB off the bench...developed into one of the team's most ferocious wedge-busters on kickoff coverage, displaying great speed and power flying downfield...notched 18 tackles, including 7 in the final two games of the year against Wyoming and Navy...played a season-high 25 defensive snaps at Air Force
