NEW MEXICO: Walk-on cornerback who joined the team in the fall of 2007...played his first year at NAIA Concordia University (Seward, Neb.) where he had 5 interceptions and 9 pass break-ups...has good size and has shown solid potential on the practice field...was pushing for time on gameday last year before a torn ACL during training camp ended his season...the former New Mexico state 100m champion is working to regain his speed after surgery, but could be a factor in the wide open cornerback battle this fall.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Carlsbad (N.M.) High School...first team all-district and second team all-state player for head coach Kelly Wilson...all-district basketball player...captured the class 5A 100m title and was 2nd in the 200 as a senior...also lettered in soccer...National Honor Society member and All-Academic award winner.
