HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Goddard High School in Roswell, N.M...rated the No. 2 offensive lineman and No. 8 overall player in the state by Rivals.com as a senior...played both ways, earning first team all-state honors at defensive tackle...All-Region selection by Velocity/PrepStar Magazine...helped the Rockets finish with a 10-4 record and an average victory margin of 30.4 points in 2007...also a member of the wrestling team.
