  • Was a graduate intern on the 2011 Arizona State football team that earned a berth in the Las Vegas Bowl.
  • Played three years on the Sun Devils football team from 2007-09, earning "Hard Hat" recognition for his work in the offseason strength and conditioning program as well as a "Scholar Baller" award for his work in the classroom.

Clay Davie enters his second year as an offensive graduate assistant for the University of New Mexico football team. He comes to UNM from a two-year graduate internship at Arizona State.

Davie was part of the 2011 Arizona State staff that led the Sun Devils to the Las Vegas Bowl. He assisted with the day-to-day operations of the program.

Davie played three years at Arizona State (2007-09) as a long snapper. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education/History in 2010 and his Master's from ASU in Education.

Davie is the son of Lobo football coach Bob Davie and his wife Joanne. He has one older sister, Audra.
