NEW MEXICO: One of the most naturally talented players on the defensive line who could present an interior presence in the Lobos' 3-4 scheme...highly-touted transfer from Illinois who played in all 12 games in 2011...former Illini and high school teammate Ugo Uzodinma also transferred to New Mexico in 2009...enrolled at New Mexico in June of 2009 and provided an immediate benefit to the Lobo offense with his presence on the defensive scout team...is hungry to make a name for himself on gameday...a former four-star prep recruit, he was one of the most decorated prep players ever to join the program when he transferred to UNM...was an early high school graduate, enrolling at Illinois in January of 2008 before redshirting the `08 season...is very conscious of maintaining a healthy diet and stays away from fatty or fried foods.

2011 (JUNIOR): Participated in all 12 games with 10 starts at nose tackle...finished with 16 tackles on the season, including four tackles for loss...best game of the season came against archrival New Mexico State with four tackles, one tackle for loss and one forced fumble. Also recorded his only sack of the season in the season finale against No. 8 Boise State.

2010 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 10 games as a back-up on the defensive line...had 14 tackles during the year with a TFL and a half sack against UNLV...gained collegiate experience in his first full season at the D1 level.

2009 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN/TRANSFER YEAR): Sat out the entire year due to transfer rules...spent time on the scout team.
