2007 (JUNIOR):
First team all-MWC honoree who was one of the league's most valuable players during the regular season (12 games)...did not play in the New Mexico Bowl after being declared academically ineligible...his play was a key to the success of one of the Mountain West's most balanced offenses...4th in the MWC with 1,177 rushing yards - his second straight 1,000-yard season...averaged 98.1 yards and had a league-high 292 carries - 39 more than the nearest player and easily the most in UNM history...120.1 scrimmage yards/game (1,441 total) was 3rd in the league...4th in the MWC with 14 total TDs...13 rushing scores were tied for 2nd in the MWC and tied for 4th on the UNM single-season list...over 100 yards rushing 6 times (T-2nd MWC) and over 100 yards from scrimmage in 9 games...18 catches for 264 yards (TD)...had a long rush of 30 and a 71-yard TD reception on a screen pass - the longest offensive play of the year for the Lobos...was excellent on 4th down as well, picking up a 1st down (5) or scoring a TD (3) on 8 of his 9 4th down rushing attempts...52% of his 3rd down rushing attempts (23-44) resulted in a 1st down or TD...voted team MVP by his teammates for the second straight year, along with Most Outstanding New Mexico Player, at the postseason awards banquet.
