NEW MEXICO: Returning starter at offensive guard who is one of the Lobos' most powerful and athletic linemen...outstanding strength in the weight room along with good speed and explosiveness...began working in with the starting offensive line at left guard late in training camp when Mike Cannon was slowed with a sore ankle...he and Cannon split snaps the bulk of the 2009 season...redshirted the 2008 season after enrolling at UNM in January and has one year of eligibility remaining.

2009 (JUNIOR): 43 knockdown blocks and 8 extra effort plays in his first 12 Division I games (7 starts)...split time with fellow junior Mike Cannon much of the year...season-high 6 KD blocks in week 2 vs. Tulsa (43 snaps).

`09 HIGHLIGHTS: vs. Colorado State...Turned in his best game of the year with 4 knockdowns while posting a career-high 88% technique grade and did not miss any assignments in his 32 snaps...helped UNM pile up a season-high 270 rushing yards and 467 total yards...did not allow a sack and had no penalties.

HOLMES CC: Spent two years at Holmes Community College in Goodman, Miss...honorable mention all-state offensive tackle for the Bulldogs in 2007...selected to play in the Mississippi Junior College North-South all-state game...played for head coach Danny Robertson.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Ridgeland (Miss.) HS...3-year letterman in football and basketball...two-time first team all-Madison County for head coach Kenny Burton...also all-district in basketball for the Titans as a junior and senior.
