Community College...one of four former Broncbusters now starting at UNM, along with LT Anthony Kilby, QB Chris Nelson, and S OJ Swift...very personable off the field, but a tough, physical force between the lines...signed with Indiana out of high school, but did not qualify academically.

2006 (SENIOR): Has started all 5 games at left guard and continues to improve his play each week along with the rest of the line...outstanding effort and leadership have been a key to the steady improvement of the O-line this fall...vs. UTEP...Solid game against a veteran defense...helped the UNM running game control the game with 193 yards on 45 attempts, including a career-high 162 from TB Rodney Ferguson...had 2 cuts and 2 pins...vs. Missouri...Had his ups and downs, but battled hard against one of the nation's premier defensive lines...opened up some big holes for TB Rodney Ferguson and coaches listed him with 4 perfect effort plays, 2 cuts and 1 pin...at New Mexico State...Played all 60 snaps, helped the Lobos' tailback trio of Rodney Ferguson, Mike Love and Paul Baker pick up 98 yards on 20 carries (4.9 avg.)...The Hitmen were also much improved in pass protection, allowing just one sack.

2005 (JUNIOR): Stepped in and immediately helped to solidify the offensive line in his first year as a starter...an ankle injury has hampered him a bit late in the season, but he played like a veteran throughout his first D-I season...made very few assignment errors...notched 72 knockdown blocks in 11 starts at quick guard...had an assignment grade over 90% in 10 games and over 95% 6 times...execution improved as well as he has posted a technique grade over 80% 7 times...at Utah...Played 64 effective snaps on a sore ankle...turned in a near-flawless 99% assignment grade and a 78% technique mark despite the injury...6 knockdown blocks and did not allow a sack against a powerful defensive line...opened the hole on DonTrell Moore's 2nd quarter TD run...vs. Colorado State...Solid efford up front, helping the Lobos rush for 191 yards...5 KD blocks and an overall grade of 88% (92% assignment, 83% technique)...at San Diego State...Part of a fine performance by the O-line against an active front 7...finished with 8 KD blocks and an overall grade of 91% (98% assignment, 83% technique) as the Lobos amassed 286 rushing yards and 534 total...The Hitmen did not allow a sack in 32 pass attempts...at Wyoming...Helped The Hitmen dominate the line of scrimmage as UNM pounded out 237 rushing yards on 66 attempts, the most since 1984...the O-line also allowed just a single "coverage" sack...recorded a season-high 12 knockdowns and posted an overall performance grade of 92% (98% assignment and 85% technique)...vs. BYU...Part of an excellent effort by the O-line, which cleared the way for the Lobos' 244 rushing yards and did not allow a sack against the Cougars' high-pressure defense...finished with 7 KD blocks in 77 snaps...turned in a 95% assignment grade and 87% performance mark overall...at TCU...Turned one of his most physical performances of the year, notching 10 KD blocks in all 92 snaps...had a 98% assignment grade and a 80% technical mark for an overall grade of 89%...vs. New Mexico State...Enjoyed one of his best games of the year, tallying 8 KD blocks and a season-best overall grade of 94% (season-high grades of 99% assignment, 88% technique) in all 75 snaps...got downfield and sprung Hank Baskett's 46-yard gain on a WR screen play...part of a dominant performance by The Hitmen who paved the way for 314 rushing yards and did not allow a sack...vs. UNLV...Nice performance in his D-I debut, tying for the team-high with an overall grade of 88% (93% assignment, 83% technique)...also had 4 KD blocks in all 73 snaps.
